Apply for Ambassador’s Special Self-Help Program(Cameroon)
Local organizations are invited to apply for the FY 2023 Ambassador’s Special Self-Help Fund programme through an open competition announced by the Political and Economic Section of the U.S. Embassy in Yaoundé, Cameroon.
Community projects that aim to improve living conditions for people in Cameroon’s ten regions should be the focus of proposals. The following topics may be included in one or more of the proposals: Income-generating activities; Environment and Agriculture; Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH); Social Services (education, health, vocational training, and local development-bridges).
Eligibility Criteria
- The Ambassador’s Special Self-Help Fund is limited to locally registered Community Based Organizations (CBOs), associations, and non-governmental organizations (NGOs) with at least two years of experience working in Cameroon.

- Award Ceiling: $10,000
- Award Floor: $3,000
