
Thelma is a young female professional who holds a BSc in Political Science and Public Administration from the University of Buea, Cameroon, and a Masters Degree in International Relations from the International Relations Institute of Cameroon (IRIC), specializing in Regional Integration and Management of Communal Institutions (IRMIC).
Thelma has substantial experience in MEAL and project management. Her responsibilities as M&E Associate at LOYOC include; data collection and analysis for evaluation reports of project activities, assisting the M&E Officer in carrying out evidence-based research, contributing to the development of project proposals and project implementation, and also contributing to developing project budgets, development of monthly, quarterly departmental reports as well as annual reports. Just like other staff members of the organization, she is also charged with representing the organization for events assigned to her. Before this current role, she was a project assistant for resource mobilization where she scouted for funds and partnerships for the organization amidst other tasks.
Thelma is passionate about networking with people within and out of the developments space and the advancement of the dialogue process amongst young people in resolving conflicts, as well as other peacebuilding stakeholders, reason why she is passionate about her role as M&E Associate, as she gets to meet and inquire the opinions and capture people’s perceptions so as to make recommendations that will in turn power decision-making.
