Akyeiri Bennin Bezankeng is a Project and Communications Officer at Local Youth Corner Cameroon. With an academic and professional background in law, she holds a Masters in International Relations, specializing in International Cooperation and Humanitarian Action and Sustainable Development from the International Relations Institute of Cameroon (IRIC).

In her role at LOYOC, Akyeiri is responsible for scouting and implementing projects, creating advocacy campaigns, storrytelling for inpacts, drafting press statements, and providing support for all internal and external communications within the organization. With previous experience as an administrative assistant, project assistant, and field agent, she brings a diverse skill set to her current position.

A humanitarian by profession and at heart, Akyeiri is passionate about peace and development projects. She dedicates a significant amount of her time to empowering and impacting peers in various related contexts and dynamics. Akyeiri firmly believes that diversity is a powerful tool that, if properly managed and passed down, can lead to lasting peace and development for centuries to come.

Akyeiri continuously improves and showcases her leadership skills. She has obtained several certificates in peacekeeping training from the Peacekeeping schools of Ecole de Maintien de la Paix, Bamako, and the Koffi Annan International Peacekeeping Training Center, Leadership trainings from Amel Instistute, YALI and Give 1Project. She is currently being trained in Cyber Security by Give1 Project. In addition to her professional pursuits, she enjoys writing, reading, and traveling.
