
Akyeiri Bennin Bezankeng is a Project and Communications Officer at Local Youth Corner Cameroon.
She has an academic and professional background in law and holds a Masters in International Relations, specialty: International Cooperation and Humanitarian Action and Sustainable Development from the International Relations Institute of Cameroon (IRIC).
In LOYOC, she is responsible for scouting for projects, designing and implementing projects, for creating advocacy campaigns, drafting press statements and many more. She provides support for all internal and external communications in the organization. She has served in the past as administrative assistant, project assistant, field agent just to name a few.
Adies is a humanitarian by profession and at heart. She is passionate about peace and development projects and commits most of her time to empowering and impacting peers in various related contexts and dynamics. Adies believes that diversity is a great tool which can be used to achieve actual peace and development that will last for centuries if properly managed and passed down.
She is a YALI Alumnus through which she gets to improve and showcase her leadership skills. She holds several certificates on peacekeeping training from the Peacekeeping schools of Ecole de Maintien de la Paix, Bamako and the Koffi Annan International Peacekeeping Training Center. She also enjoys writing, reading, and travelling.
