Besong Bawack Mallet serves as the Administrative and Human Resource Coordinator of Local Youth Corner Cameroon and oversees the administration of the organization and the management of employees and resources.
He previously served as an academic affairs officer for Buea University society of History, Faculty of arts, university of Buea where he handled all academic and administrative issues related to students in the Department of History.
Mallet is the founder/Coordinator of Network for Community Development (NECOD) with headquarters in Buea-Cameroon. He is equally a YALI alumni from the Regional Leadership Center in Accra. He has also previously served as Secretary-General of Ntai egbe-areng Students Union (NESU) Cameroon and advocated for the creation of multipurpose computer Center to help improve on the computer literate level of the students as well as aid research and e-learning.
Mallet holds a Bachelor’s Degree in History from the University of Buea and is currently a master research student of economic and social history at the University of Yaounde I, where he focuses on courses related to gender issues, education, nation-building, ICT, globalization, regional integration, and research. He equally has a professional attestation on office automation and management from DESA professional University-Buea.
Mallet also possesses skills in project writing and management, strategic communication, public policy and administration, gender and conflict, personnel management and research among others.
