He founded Local Youth Corner Cameroon in 2002 and served as its National Coordinator until 2014. In the spirit of true leadership, Mr Sanyi handed over leadership of the Association in 2012 to Mr Nteta Philip Nfon, who served until 2014 before handing over the position to Mr Achaleke Christian Leke. Today Mr Sanyi, oversees the overall growth of the Association and provides expert advice on its programmes and projects. A PhD Researcher in Anthropology of Development in the University of Yaoundé I, Mr Sanyi currently holds a Masters Degree in International Development, serves as the National Director, Cameroon for The Duke of Edinburgh International Award Cameroon and President of the Cameroon Chevening Alumni Association.

She currently works as the Press and Communications Officer of the British High Commission in Yaoundé. A Journalist by training and profession, she joined the Board of Local Youth Corner Cameroon in 2014 to help support the work of the Association however, challenging the Communication team members of the Association to work towards promoting the image of the Association beyond Cameroon.
She is a High School teacher with over 20 years’ experience. She currently teaches at the Government Bilingual Practising High School Yaoundé. Her passion for youth development has grown over the years she has worked as a teacher, forming young people through secondary education. She has been on the Board of Local Youth Corner Cameroon since 2014 when the Board of Directors was reconstituted.
Mrs Mary Magdalene Ndechi
He is a Certified Chattered Accountant. Currently completing studies for a Doctorate in Business Administration, specialisation in Entrepreneurship with Walden University, USA, Mr Atem who also holds an MBA from Heriot Watts University, UK currently serves as General Manager for Cosmos Educational Press Limited Cameroon. A passionate promoter of youth entrepreneurship, Mr Atem joined the Board of Local Youth Corner Cameroon to contribute to its works on bridging the gap between youth action for peace and entrepreneurship development.
Mr Atem Emmanuel Ndesieh
He is a High School teacher of Physics. He served as National Coordinator for Local Youth Corner Cameroon from 2012 to 2014. A founding member of the Teaching in Excellence Award Alumni Association (A US Exchange programme for teaching excellence), Mr Nteta works with the Board to provide oversight on programme formulation especially those targeting youth in school milieu.
